This complements the existing 4 to 6mm and 6 to 8mm versions and is designed to meet the demand for M12 connectors to cater for cables with increased diameters due to the combination of UL approvals, chain flex requirements and increasing pole numbers. Other pin counts can be supplied on request.
These new M12 connectors have nickel plated brass housing with gold-plated brass pins and the cable shielding braid is connected to the connector housing via a shielding ring. This provides protection to IP67 when mated and locked and these new versions are expected to find applications in areas such as drives, controls, sensors and automation equipment.
