With a length of 16.7 mm, a height of 6.47 mm and a width of just 10 mm, the version -36ZR (reversed type) 19-pin low-profile HDMI receptacles have “mini” dimensions, which enables them to save space on printed circuit boards. They feature a locking mechanism, and they are fastened to the PCB using a hybrid mounting process (SMD contact soldering along with four THT soldering tabs on the sides).
The version “-1HZR” 19-position low-profile HDMI female connectors have been prepared for through-hole soldering. With dimensions of 15.0 x 12.5 x 5.55 (L x W x H in mm) even the standard version already has very compact measurements. However, a design trick makes it possible for them to save even more mounting space, because they can be installed at an offset inside a cutout in the board. This then reduces the connector height above the PCB by 2.17 mm to 3.38 mm.
The new low-profile HDMI receptacles’ connecting contacts consist of a copper alloy with gold/tin plating; all versions are also optionally available in halogen-free designs. Use of a capton film on top along with tape and reel packaging permits automatic placement.
SUYIN offers a broad range of HDMI receptacle connectors and cables that are tailored to all kinds of applications, such as set-top boxes, DVD devices, LCDs or HDTVs. SUYIN offers them beginning at a project volume of 80k pieces per year and, of course, will be pleased to support the ramp-up of your project by supplying smaller amounts.
