Leading electrical and electronic connector specialist FC Lane Electronics is exhibiting at DSEi 2011, the Defence Systems & Equipment International exhibition, which this year is being held at London’s ExCeL exhibition centre from 13 to 16 September.
DSEi provides a major focus on the technologies and systems required by the defence, security and military aerospace communities and, when last held in 2009, more than 1350 exhibitors from 40 countries were present when the doors opened.

FC Lane Electronics will showcase its military connector capability. According to Managing Director Simon Hammerton, FC Lane will bring together connectors and connector systems from several of its key suppliers including Souriau and Weald Electronics.

Visitors to the Lane exhibit will be able to see military circular connectors including signal and power types that meet the requirements of MIL-C-5015, MIL-C-26482 and MIL-D38999.

Included will be the recently announced, cost competitive Weald Electronics LMJ screw coupling circular connector range that meets MIL-C-5015. These IP67 rated connectors come with aluminum alloy shells in 13 sizes, a threaded coupling and a neoprene insert and can be supplied with between 1 and 104 solder bucket or crimp contacts.

With a rated voltage range of 250 to 4200VDC and 200 to 3000VAC, maximum current capability is from 10 to 150A depending on size. The connectors are available in various finishes, including RoHs and Cadmium free, and can be supplied with PG cable gland fittings and 360º EMC screen termination.

Lane is an ideal source for all key connector types including circular, filtered, RF, coaxial, sub – miniature, backshells and adaptors, D connectors, aerospace, test & measurement, IDC, PCB connectors, edge connectors and connectors for rack and panel applications.
