The VEAM Power VIP has a straight receptacle and right angle plug which is lightweight and offers considerable space saving over conventional interconnects for train current converters, power transmission applications, mobile generators and distribution panels. This new connector meets the latest safety regulations and incorporates finger protection to guard against the risk of injury or electric shock, while allowing an operative to mate and unmate the connector quickly.
The VEAM Power VIP connector features a threaded coupling with keyway orientation and is rated up to 700A. ROHS compliant and IP67 water protected, this new interconnect meets standards for low smoke emission as well as I2F2 and UL-94-V0 standards.
