The metal housing is made of nickel plated brass and offered with 3, 4 and 8 gold-plated contacts. Pre-wired 24 AWG wires are 200 mm long. With the aid of a potted rear termination, the panel connectors are sealed to IP68 which can withstand depths of water up to 18 meters for 24 hours. The male connectors are mating compatible with Binder-USA M12 Series 713 field-attachable connectors and Series 763 cordsets.

Binder-USA has announced the addition of M12 panel connectors with M20 x 1.5 and PG 13.5 mounting threads. Each connector is pre-wired and has a potted rear termination making them ideal for harsh environments.
