Highly resistant polytetrafluoroethylene is used as insulation material. This gives the high-voltage cable high resistance to ageing, not only in normal environments, but also against tough environmental influences such as UV radiation, high or low temperatures or chemical substances.
Compared to other types of insulation, the outer diameter of Hi-Voxtreme cables is usually smaller. In order to guarantee the best possible contact behaviour, high-quality silver-plated copper is used for both the shielding braid and the inner conductor.
