HCD to highlight new cable assembly and box build services at National Electronics Week

HCD, the Letchworth-based contract electronics manufacturer, will focus on new services at the National Electronics Week exhibition, Birmingham NEC, 18-19th May. Recently the company has announced a cable assembly facility and box-build capability, in addition to its core CEM and PCB design activities.

Explains founder MD, Gene Holmes: “We hope that visitors to our NEW booth will learn that we can deliver much more than just PCB assembly. The company started as a PCB design house, adding manufacturing in response to customer requests for a fast turn-around, flexible and high quality production service. Now we are a full EMS supplier, recently extending our premises to bring cable assembly and box-build under one roof.”

HCD is well-respected for its willingness to support prototype activities – the company is structured to produce one-off orders very quickly so that designers can move rapidly through the development cycle and get to market quickly. HCD can then see a project through production ramp up and into mid-volume production.
