The contacts with grade G1 (500 mating cycles) and G2 (200 mating cycles) were qualified by comprehensive mating cycle tests and corrosive gas examinations. In addition, the contact coating saves resources while protecting the environment. With the new contact coating the manufacturing costs are reduced – an advantage that PROVERTHA plans to hand down to its clients. In the medium term all D-Sub series will be supplied with the new G1 and G2 contacts.
