Offering data transfer rates of up to 100 Mbit/s the 4 pole M12 D-coded Field plug is therefore suited to PROFINET and EtherNet I/P applications. The M12 plug is made from Die Cast zinc and offers a 360° shield around the cable. In addition, there is no requirement for special tools and it can therefore be connected in the field quickly and easily. The M12 D-Code field plug will accept cable OD’s from 5.0 –9.7mm and conductor sizes AWG 26/7 – 22/7 and AWG 24/1 – 22/1. As standard the M12 plug offers a high mechanical and electrical resistance along with an IP67 rating in mated form.
