FCI Expands Terminal Block Portfolio with New Options

FCI, a leading developer of connectors and interconnect systems, announces the expansion of its terminal blocks product portfolio with additional PCB fixed configurations, power pluggable and spring-contact products, all ideal for industrial and instrumentation applications. With these additions, the product line will fulfill the needs for most connections a customer could need.

Terminal blocks are essential for many circuit board designs, said Koos Steding, FCI’s global product manager. With this line extension we now provide the most complete range of standard EURO-style terminal blocks for our customers in the industrial and instrumentation market, all delivered with the rising-cage-clamp-contact for high performance in demanding applications.

The newest additions to the terminal block range include fixed PCB connectors, vertical and angled wire-inlet as well as two-level horizontal wire inlet; a power pluggable version on 10.16mm with a current rating up to 55A; spring-contact pluggable and fixed versions for quick and easy installation; UL and VDE certifications. The new products join a range that already included front screw, key backside, contact downside plugs and 2-wall, 45°-angled, feedthrough sockets, and accessories such as polarization keys.

In its continuing effort to supply superior customer service, the terminal block micro-site has been further enhanced with an updated product type search, updated 3D models and mating half information, updated cross-referencing, and a new downloadable terminal blocks product catalog. The terminal block micro-site offers customers simplified, direct access to product solutions.
