The components are characterized by a low contact resistance in the range of <3.5 mΩ to <8,5 mΩ and a low insertion force of 2 kg. They are UL certified for high current up to 10A. Additional features of the Snap-Latch connectors are the light weight, vibration resistance, 100 % touch proof, they resist high temperatures (operation temperature range -50 °C up to +120 °C), are non-magnetic and allow more than 1,000 mating cycles (medical version). For securing the correct connection there are offered six mechanical coding options and seven different plastic colors.
