A number of connectors, which are suitable for PROFINET communication and Gigabit requirements in industrial applications, have been introduced by HARTING. Alongside the Han PushPull(R) connector for V.14, the company has added the IP20 RJ45 connector to its preLink(R) range. The latter is particularly suitable for connections from field devices such as data-collection terminals, controllers and wireless access points.

For Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet requirements, HARTING has added the D-coded M12 connectors and X-coded M12 connectors to its pre-wired range. Wiring is simplified by the preLink(R) terminal block, which accommodates up to eight wires and is connected in a single operation using the preLink(R) assembly tool. This tool indicates when assembly is complete, enabling an error-free installation process.
