Times Microwave has launched its new LMR-195 connector portfolio. Designed as a matched-system solution to work seamlessly with the company’s LMR-195 coaxial cable, these connectors offer low loss, rugged construction, and reliability across a wide range of wireless and sensing applications.
The release focuses on eight high-volume connector designs chosen to address the vast majority of LMR-195 field requirements while enabling efficient stocking through authorised distribution partners. This selection ensures customers get rapid availability of the most commonly needed parts, without the burden of lower-volume items collecting dust on distributor shelves.
“The right connector makes all the difference,” explains Kevin Moyher, Commercial Products Manager at Times Microwave Systems. “We build our LMR-195 connectors to the same rigorous standards as our LMR cables, so customers get dependable signal integrity, mechanical strength, and long-term environmental protection. Many off-brand connectors may fit, but they fall short where it matters – impedance control, corrosion resistance, and durability. This new LMR-195 connector line ensures customers never have to choose between quality and availability.”
The new connectors include both EZ and TC styles:
- EZ connectors are recommended for most users, eliminating variables such as solder volume, pin-core gap, and dielectric damage – making field terminations fast, consistent, and repeatable
- TC connectors support specialised constructions such as Ultraflex, LLPX, or FBT cables
Both options are compatible with Times Microwave’s CST-195/200 prep tool, WSB-195/200 weather-seal boots, and the TK-195/200/240EZ-HC toolkit, enabling installers to achieve factory-level performance on site. Applications include Wi-Fi, RFID, GPS, sensors, SCADA systems, private networks, and IoT deployments, where reliable terminations are critical to system performance.
