A series of 8-pole, X-coded connectors has been added to Binder's  range of M12 connectors. With data transmission of up to 10Gbit/s, the connectors will prove highly valuable in applications using industrial Ethernet protocols such as PROFINET for security, CCTV and passenger information systems.

The high bandwidth is achieved by isolating the four pairs of wires from one another with a cross or X-coding shield. The X-coding conforms to the industry standard IEC 61076-2-109 and is specified for broadband transmission by Ethernet protocols including PROFINET. The basic M12 connector design that is renowned throughout the world for its compact size and robustness is ideal for applications that endure extreme environmental conditions. Operating temperature range is -40 to +85°C.

The range includes a variety of IP67 female panel mount connectors with dip solder contacts, a selection of moulded PUR cables terminated with two male IP67 M12 connectors or one M12 and one Cat. 6A RJ45 offering IP20 protection. Additionally there is a field-wireable 8-pole male M12 connector with IDT contacts.
