Connector suits devices with pad spacing as close as 0.50mm

Providing a reliable and cost-effective way to connect an LCD to a PCB, the Zebra elastomeric connector has been released by Fujipoly. When positioned between a PCB and LCD, the connector makes redundant electrical contact using 140 conductive pads per inch.

The Zebra is made from alternating layers of conductive carbon-filled and non-conductive silicone, making it suitable for devices with pad spacing as close as 0.50mm. Capable of delivering a current carrying capacity of 50mA per 1.01×1.01mm pad, the device can be specified in custom lengths up to 230mm.

To accommodate a wide range of applications, the connector is available in a variety of widths from 0.38 to 3.0mm and operates across a temperature range of -50 to +125°C.
