Connector reduces theme park maintenance
Offering reduced maintenance costs for outdoor theme park cabling systems, the Han-Eco Outdoor connector has been released by HARTING. Based on a robust high-performance lightweight plastic material, when mated through the fluor polymer rubber flange seal, the connector provides IP65, UV, ozone and acid-rain resistant protection.
The connector can be inserted using screw-terminal monoblock assemblies, with 10, 14, 20 and 28 ways at 16A, allowing for easy field installation. In a range of four different sized housings, mixed audio, video, communications, data and power signals can also be handled.
The modular integrated cabling approach provides the Han-Eco Outdoor connector with the ability to withstand adverse outdoor environmental conditions, which extends maintenance intervals and reduces maintenance costs of theme park audio-visual/multimedia installations.
