Providing major cabling clearance and unobstructed access to the NCU’s Profibus and Profinet interfaces, the new Profibus Compact 2 M12 bus connector features a compact and optimised form factor. Implemented as RJ45 connector to the X120 interface, it also avoids collisions with the Ethernet port.
The Profibus Compact 2 M12 bus connectors also feature completely shielded zinc die-cast housings for high EMI/RFI security, cable outlets 90° to the D-Sub connecting direction with the Compact models, and the fast M12 Plug&Play connection. 100% tested bus connectors resulting in high functional safety, they also include programming and diagnosis options provided by a second D-Sub port, UNC 4-40 knurled locking screws, and massive externally operable switch levers to activate bus termination.
