Combo-D connectors allow the user to mix power and signal in a single connector body capable of up to 40A per size 8 contact. The WCBD styles feature a flexible, thermal-resistant adhesive seal and mounting accessories and hardware that prevent water and dust ingress into the enclosure. The materials used – a composite mounting plate, optional stainless steel shell and heavy gold plating – have been chosen to offer long-term corrosion resistance.

WCBD series connectors are available with vertical and right angle solder PCB terminations in two tail diameters, and optionally with flying leads. Closed entry PosiBand female contacts for ruggedised applications can also be fitted.
