Ian Perris, General Manager of GTK UK Ltd, Romsey, met the contractor and took away a prototype unit. Within one week he was able to provide first off samples of a much lower cost solution.”
GTK’s 6000 square foot Romsey plant is able to offer technical assistance, prototyping, pre-production and production services on all types of assembly – crimp, coax, IDC, looms – as well as box-building. With a 20-strong workforce, the facility – acquired by GTK last year – has many years of experience supplying product to all industry sectors, and complements GTK’s Far Eastern manufacturing resource.
Adds Hennessey: “Three days after sign off on the new cable design, we delivered the first production batch of harness to the delight of our customer.
