Cable assemblies suit onboard placement

Samtec’s ECUE FireFly Low Profile Micro Flyover System cable assemblies are a copper solution based on Samtec's 100 Ω 34 AWG and 36 AWG twinax ribbon cable.

These assemblies are interchangeable with a FireFly optical assembly using the same connector system. The assemblies feature 28 Gbps performance, a 3.18 mm (0.125") bend radius, and a wide variety of End 2 options.

The Eye Speed cables are offered in 36 AWG twinax, 34 AWG twinax, and 34 AWG ultra-low skew twinax in lengths of 300 mm, 500 mm, and 1000 mm.

The ECUE components are designed for onboard or on-package placement.
