Bourns has unveiled the Model CRF Series High Power Metal Strip Jumper. These zero ohm resistors, or jumpers, are characterised by their exceptionally low resistance values and are employed to connect points on a printed circuit board (PCB) that cannot be linked via printed traces.

Bourns' latest AEC-Q200 compliant high power jumpers surpass the performance of thick film jumpers with a higher current rating and reduced resistance, rendering them suitable for a wide array of applications in consumer, industrial, telecommunication, and automotive sectors.

The new Model CRF Series zero ohm jumpers from Bourns are crafted using a copper alloy and a protective overcoat material. They are available in four different footprint sizes: 0805, 1206, 2010, and 2512, offering a maximum resistance value of 0.2 milliohms. These jumpers boast a high current rating of up to 100 A and an operating temperature range from -55°C to +150°C. They are also conveniently available in tape and reel packaging.

The Bourns Model CRF Series high power metal strip jumper is now available for purchase. These models comply with RoHS regulations and are free from halogen substances.
