It is available in pole numbers 2–20. The fork contacts of the BLM 3 SMD … are refined with gold or tin (pure tin) on the surface and are accordingly available as socket connectors as well. The contact material of the socket connector is made of a CuSn alloy.
Safe operation is guaranteed within a temperature range of -40°C to +163°C. As with the previous design, the insulating body is made of a high temperature-resistant plastic (flammability class: UL94 V-0), thus making the socket connector suitable for the lead-free, reflow soldering method.
