It is remarkable for its low-profile design with dimensions of 29.7mm x 37.85mm x 4.2mm (W x D x H) and an ejection stroke of 5mm for the storage media. For enhanced user-friendliness, the combine type connector is realized as push-push type, which allows for easy handling through manual insertion and removal of the memory cards. Thereby the SCDG4B0100 guarantees an operating life of 5,000 insertion/removal cycles. The operating temperature ranges from –10°C to +60°C.

Further technical specifications include a maximum initial contact resistance of 200mΩ at the connector contacts and 600mΩ at the detection switch, an insulation resistance of up to 1,000MΩ and a voltage proof of 100VAC per minute.
