Aerco enhances connector assembling capability to improve AB05 delivery times

Aerco has enhanced its AB05 assembling capability and in doing so has widened the choice and range of AB05 connectors that are available on five-day delivery. Aerco has been the sole UK assembling distributor for the AB05 connectors manufactured by AB Connectors since 2006 and offers a five-day delivery on an extensive range of contact layouts, including orientated connectors, and offers a choice of either cadmium or environmentally friendly zinc cobalt plated versions.

These connectors can be supplied with a full range of accessories that are also held in stock in Horsham, including cable clamps, sealed outlets, protective caps and EMI/RFI shielded adaptors. All assembled parts are offered with no minimum order quantities and ISO certification is provided free of charge.

AB05 connectors are rugged, high performance, bayonet locking connectors that meet the stringent requirements of BS9522 F0017, a standard that supersedes Defence Standard 59-35 (part 1) section 3 Pattern 105. They also conform to Mil-C-26482 series 1 solder.

AB05s are available from two to 61 contacts and have a temperature range of –55ºC to +125ºC. They are environmentally sealed when mated and are used extensively in military vehicles and military communications. Because of their competitive pricing, compact design and high reliability they are also increasingly being used in a wide range of industrial applications.
