Pulse has introduce the JT3-1101HL ultra-low profile offset and halogen free 10GBASE-T RJ45 ICM for server, router, and storage applications. Pulse's 10G RJ45 ICM is only 9.04mm tall once installed on the PCB. This gives flexibility to 10GBASE-T hardware designers who have an I/O panel with limited height, but who need to configure it so the RJ45 is in line with the PCB.

"Pulse's line of 10GBASE-T ICMs are backwards compatible to 1 gigabit which provides the ability for businesses to scale their networks as they grow," explained Muhammad Khan, product manager, Pulse Electronics. "Pulse's 10GBASE-T ICMs are enabling the smooth transition from 1 gigabit Ethernet to 10 gigabit Ethernet in the data center."

Pulse's 10G ICMs are tuned to have flat insertion loss and excellent return loss performance over 10GBASE-T frequencies and are designed to meet industry standard IEEE 802.3 requirements over 100 meters. The advanced design of this 10 gigabit ICM helps customers meet electromagnetic emission control requirements for FCC part 15 class B for high speed devices. Pulse works with server, storage, router, switch, and silicon vendors to provide ICM solutions that support 10Gbit/s transmission speeds within the 10GBASE-T ecosystem.

The JT3 ICMs are packaged in trays. Prices start at approximately $6.50.
