SUYIN offers its new 100236 RJ-series for every conceivable type of telecommunications wiring – from a simple telephone and fax line all the way up to 10/100-Base-T and 100-Base-T4 data network applications. These vertical RJ10 to RJ45 SMT receptacles, which are available in nine variants with 4, 6 and 8 terminals, are designed for vertical mounting – a relatively rare feature among the products available on the market.
All these jacks share the same length (14 mm) and height (12.7 mm), but their widths vary – depending on the number of contacts – from 8 mm to 11.91 mm. The following models, which are noted here with the number of contact positions (P) and number of contacts (C) in parenthesis, are on offering: RJ10 (4P/4C), RJ11 (6P/2C), RJ12 (6P/6C), RJ45 (8P/4C and 8P/8C).

The 8/8-pole RJ45 jacks are available with or without shielding, with or without positioning posts and with or without two LEDs (green/yellow – green, or green – green). The RJ10, RJ11 and RJ12 versions are only available without shielding. Depending on the specific jack variant, different contact pin lengths (2 mm or 3 mm) are possible.

The key electrical specifications include the guaranteed number of 5,000 mating cycles, the voltage and current carrying capacity of 115 V/1.5 A DC per contact, the maximum contact resistance of 20 mΩ (initial) and, among other specs, the minimum insulation resistance of 500 MΩ (initial). For automatic placement, these RJ10 to RJ45 SMT jacks are supplied in tape & reel packaging and with different options (with and without covers). In some cases, pick & place processing is also possible from the underside.
