Verotec has supplied many custom IMRAK 19” cabinets to JCB, primarily for use in the R&D Department to house test equipment. The latest order was for 22U high, 600x800mm IMRAK cabinets, bayed together and plinth mounted for the Testing Pilot 2 Project. The 22U high enclosure pairs are each fitted with solid front doors, hinged at the outer verticals to produce a wardrobe opening to maximise access to the interior.

The rear of each cabinet is fitted with a reduced height 17U door, below which is a 5U brush letterbox cable entry in one of the racks and a vented panel in the other. The cabinet bases have cable entry gland plates, a full size one in one rack and a split cable entry in the other. Internally, the racks are configured with keyboard trays and chassis supports, positioned as specified by JCB.

Tim Armstrong, Verotec Commercial Director, said: “The IMRAK 1400 is the default cabinet choice for JCB. The range of support accessories, the huge number of standard options such as reduced height doors and filler panels and our ability to configure the cabinet in our dedicated assembly and modification area means that we can offer short lead times for a cabinet that is exactly right for the intended application.”
