Mounting enclosures have snap on kits for quick assembly
A new series of DIN-rail mounting enclosures has been announced by Hylec-APL. The DNCB Range features snap-on bases and terminal covers for quick, easy assembly and is suitable for electromechanical and electronic applications. For the latter, the DNCB Range is suitable for PCBs up to 1.6mm thick, with slots which hold up to three PCBs horizontally or between two and four vertically.
There is an option for incorporating a screw-mounted heat sink. The range offers a choice of solid or vented open tops: solid tops can be either perforated or non-perforated; alternatively a slotted option is available.
A major benefit offered by this robust, high-quality enclosure range is ease of assembly – snap-on terminal covers and snap-on bases save time. The snap-on terminal covers have slots for pitches 5/7.5/10 and knockout holes for pitch 5/10. DNCB enclosures are manufactured from flame-retardant UL94-0 polycarbonate with a grey RAL 7035 body and a choice of either grey, transparent red or clear covers.
They are available in three sizes: 36, 53.5 and 71cm long, each 90cm wide by 100cm high. DNCB enclosures can be customised to suit individual requirements.
