TEKO has launched its new ‘MINITEKAL’ range of miniature aluminium enclosures. These versatile and robust housings have been designed for easy assembly of the electronics. The all aluminium design allows good levels of EMC protection to be implemented. Typical applications will include small hand-held measurement devices, low power Radio equipment, power supplies, peripherals, monitoring systems and detection devices. Due to their small size, ‘MINITEKAL’ cases can be used as independent units or located in control cabinets.
‘MINITEKAL’ cases consist of an extruded case body with two die-cast end panels which are assembled by eight self-tapping screws. The case extrusion includes a series of internal guide rails for the PCBs. The end panels have a raised front area for mounting controls switches, connectors, antennas etc. Two moulded rubber gaskets are also included for sealing the mating faces of the end panels and case extrusion.

The cases are available in a useful range of four compact sizes from 68 x 43 x 23 mm to 113 x 66 x 18 mm. Two standard colour combinations are offered: silver or black anodised case extrusions with grey or black painted end panels.
