TEKO have extended the TEKAL range of extruded aluminium enclosures. These versatile housings have been designed for hand-held, desktop and wall mounted electronics. Typical applications will include mobile data recorders, test and measurement devices and control equipment.
TEKAL cases consist of an extruded case section and two tough ABS end panels. These are mounted by self-tapping screws. The case extrusion is painted with fine texture powder paint in either off-white RAL 9002 or black RAL 9004. The matching end panels are light grey RAL 9018 and dark grey RAL 7012 respectively.

TEKAL cases also feature internal guide rails for mounting PCBs, and a recessed area on the top and bottom, which can be used for mounting membrane keypads or product labels. The end panels are also recessed for keypads, or to protect the connectors and switches. Volume prices start at £6.50.

The new extended range now includes mini-tower versions, instrument cases with carry handles and wall mountable models. External dimensions range from 70 x 60 x 31 mm to 210 x 167 x 53 mm. For hand-held applications, slide-in battery compartments can be ordered as accessories. Two models are offered for 1.5V AA or 9V cells.

TEKO can supply these enclosures with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors and controls etc., plus silk-screen printed legends and logos. The cases can also be painted in alternative colours.
