This exclusive and robust range of 19” rack cases is manufactured in aluminium. Available in three standard heights – 1U, 2U and 3U, with depths of 167 mm, 267 mm and 367 mm, the cases conform to DIN 41594 and IEC standards.
The front bezel is painted in light grey, RAL 7035, and the case body is finished in alocrom 1200. Internal guide rails are included for mounting PCBs and chassis plates.
Uniquely, the anodised aluminium front panel can be removed while the case is still in the rack. The front panel kit includes two ABS cover trims, which hide the front panel fixing screws, and are recessed for location of a membrane keypad. Other accessories include chassis plates and a rack mounting kit.
OKW can supply the ‘METTEC’ rack cases with additional holes for push-buttons,
connectors and displays etc., plus silk-screen printed legends and logos. The cases can also be painted in other colours. Standard prices start at £66.
