Easily vent heat and moisture from enclosures

Designed to allow the circulation of a large volume of air, the IPV series PC/PC wide opening external vent has been unveiled by Bud Industries. Equally suited for indoor and outdoor use, the enclosure vent targets applications such as control boxes, WiFi and radio housing, power supply housing, access controls, high heat systems, corrosive environments and general factory environments.

Offering basic protection from rain water and falling debris for outdoor use and protecting electronics from heat and moisture for indoor use, the IPV series is optimal for cooling and pressure equalising. The moisture protection is facilitated by the continuous gasket between the enclosure and the vent.

Constructed of grey polycarbonate plastic and 10% fibreglass, the vent provides improved shatter resistance and allows for more consistent molding for tighter tolerances and a relatively smooth exterior. Designed to provide IP32 protection (test pending), the enclosure features material that is non-chlorinated and non-brominated flame retardant with a UL-94 V0 rating. The material withstands exposure to ultraviolet light and water in accordance with UL 746C.

The IPV series PC/PC wide opening external vent is available in two models: 2.91×2.91×1.1 and 3.95×3.95×1.25″. The units are available from stock, with prices starting under $4 for single unit orders.
