The rack-level systems are suitable for mission-critical applications including flight training, shipboard and ground communications, test instrumentation, transportation and emergency services. The systems are also suited to mobile equipment as well as broadcasting and telecomms applications.
Several elements can be utilised by the rack-level systems, including servers, storage bays, routers and Ethernet switches. Power supplies, a keyboard and a monitor can also be utilised by the systems. To enable reliable operation in critical applications, the rack-level systems are available with a number of defence and industrial specifications including MIL-STD-901D, MIL-STD-810F, MIL-STD-167 and MIL-STD-461 and also NEBS Level 3 Zone 4, GR-63-CORE and AREMA/CENELEC.
