UVC camera board delivers low light performance
The high-performance See3CAM CU30 USB Video Class (UVC) Camera with S-mount (M12 mount) lens holder from e-con Systems is available at L2Tek. Based on the AR0330 CMOS Image Sensor from OnSemi, the See3CAM CU30 is a two-board solution containing the camera sensor board and USB 3.0 UVC controller board.
With a focus on high pixel performance, the sensor delivers exceptional low-light colour image quality and smooth HD video (1080p at 60fps) without losing field of view, which is highly beneficial for compact digital video, camcorder, web, sports action, surveillance and video conferencing camera applications.
In addition to high-end digital video performance, the AR0330 can also capture a 3.2MP still image due to its unique multi aspect ratio format.
The CMOS imaging solution enables high speed image capture capabilities, and includes variable functions, such as gain, frame rate, and exposure while maintaining low power consumption.
The camera board enables cost-effective camera designs with advanced image processing and low power consumption requirement.
