An industrial grade Mini-ITX motherboard, suitable for space limited applications, has been introduced by Advantech. The AIMB-215 is 21mm in height and powered by an Intel Celeron J1900/N2930 SoC, providing lower power consumption and higher performance than previous generations.

The motherboard features high connectivity and multiple high-speed I/O including: dual LAN ports, 1xUSB 3.0, 9xUSB 2.0, 2xSATAII, 6xCOM, 1xPCIe x1, and 2xMiniPCIe (F/Sx1, H/Sx1) expansion sockets, as well as a SIM card holder for easy WiFi/3G module installation. The AIMB-215 also features 8-bit digital programmable I/O, with Audio Jack. The motherboard also supports both ATX12V and DC-IN power, providing a low cost solution.

Featuring Intel Gen. 7 Graphics Engines and media encode/decode engine with DX11, OpenCL1.2 and OpenGL3.2 support, the board provides improved graphics and 3D video performance. Display capabilities supported include Displayport1.2, dual channel 24-bit LVDs, and VGA.

With remote device management from Advantech SUSIAccess, the AIMB-215 allows users to monitor, configure, control, and recover multiple systems through a single console from a remote site. Suitable applications for the motherboard include panel PCs and digital signage boxes in ATM/Kiosks, POS, gaming and automation.
