Low-power 3.5” single board computer introduced by DFI Tech

A 3.5” Single Board Computer (SBC) for low-power requirements is now being offered from provider of SWaP-optimised embedded computing solutions and board products, DFI Tech. The board features Intel Atom or Pentium/Celeron processor options. 

The BW551 3.5” SBC features the N3000 Pentium/Celeron processor family with 4W of power consumption. The entry level version is a dual core at 1.04GHz speed with burst frequency up to 2.08GHz. There are also other processor options including a quad core Atom Processor x5-E8000 version at 5W. 

DFI Tech’s Low Power 3.5” SBC offers 1 DDR3L SODIMM memory up to 8GB and three independent displays of VGA, LVDS LCD panel, and DP++. The other I/O includes four USB 3.0 / two USB 2.0, two GbE, four COM, an 8-bit digital I/O and an SMBus. Wireless communication is supported via Mini PCIe and SIM slots. There is also mSATA storage expansion, as well as SATA 3.0 and SATA power ports.

DFI Tech provides other SBCs in the 3.5” and 4.0” sizes. The company also offers industrial motherboards, COM Express modules, and full embedded computing systems.
