Kontron K3932-N mITX with Intel Core i3 processors and Intel N-series processors

Kontron, a pioneering global provider of IoT/Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), presents a mITX motherboard based on the powerful Intel Core i3 processors and Intel N-series processors with latest UHD Gen12 graphics.

Thanks to the built-in cFAST connector and ccTalk support, this board is ready for applications in the Casino Gaming market such as slot machines or roulette, and Point of Sale. The German engineered K3932-N mITX can be equipped with two different CPUs and is available for at least seven years. First samples will be available from September 2023.

The industrial motherboard K3932-N mITX is equipped with up to three DisplayPorts V1.4a, one Embedded DisplayPort V1.4b (4K) and one Dual-Channel LVDS (24bit) and supports up to three independent displays with 4K resolution (2x 4K + 1x FHD). The built-in cFAST connector for CompactFlash memory cards with SATA interface enables easy and toolless game changing especially for use in slot machines. In addition, the K3932-N supports the ccTalk protocol for secure transmission of credit and status information to cash management devices, such as coin-operated machines in gaming machines.

The motherboard also features expansion slots for PCIe and one M.2 port, as well as many other interfaces, including GPIO, four COM ports, and four USB 3.2 Gen2. A SODIMM socket for high-performance DDR5 memory with up to 32GB is also used. The motherboard is designed for 24/7 continuous operation and an extended temperature range of up to 60°C.

Two versions are available depending on the computing power requirements. The N6 variant is equipped with the powerful Intel Core i3 N305 (Octa-Core, 1.0 or 1.8/up to 3.8GHz @9W or 15W). The N2 version offers the Intel N97 quad-core processors (K3932-N2, 2.0/up to 3.6GHz @12W).
