A dual wideband transceiver in the FMC (FPGA Mezzanine Card) format, with a frequency range of 70MHz to 6GHz, has been introduced by VadaTech. Suitable for LTE, SDR and other advanced RF applications, the FMC214 utilises eight SSMC connectors for the I/O.

The device combines RF front end, frequency synthesisers, mixed-signal baseband sections and a flexible digital interface to host the processor through the LPC connector. An instantaneous bandwidth programmable from 200KHz to 56MHz is provided by the FMC214, which is time domain duplex and frequency domain duplex compatible.

Both internal and external clocking is possible via an on-board internal clock and an FMC connector. VadaTech provides FMC boards in network interface, RF module, and ADC/DAC styles.
