Device targets low power consumption for intelligent systems

DATA MODUL has introduced an industrial Mini-ITX powered by Intel Celeron N2930/J1900, a SoC codenamed “Bay Trail”. Based on the 22nm Silvermont microarchitecture, the processors are designed for intelligent systems and applications with low power consumption and high performance requirements.

The MS-98F5 is a low-profile board that requires +12V DC input and supports one 204-pin DDR3L SODIMM system memory with up to 8GB DDR3L 1066/1333 SDRAM capacity.

The processor has a dual channel 24 bit LVDS interface with 8 x USB 2.0, 6 x COM, 8 GPIOs, 1 x SATA, HD Audio, Gigabit Ethernet (optional Dual Gigabit) and is expandable via Mini-PCIe (with mSATA support) and PCIe x1.

The MS-98F5 has a guaranteed long-term availability of 5 years and is an solution for many intelligent systems, such as kiosk, vending machine and POS & ATMs.
