Carrier allows video to be utilised in a MicroTCA system

A PCIe Gen3 carrier board, which allows high-performance commercial video or other boards to be utilised in a MicroTCA system, has been released by VadaTech. The AMC104 allows customers to use high-end commercial graphics cards as removable mezzanines, as well as upgrade their PCIe GPGPU or other video boards. 

Offered in a full size double module, the carrier board routes PCIe Gen3 to the backplane as x4 or x8. Features include a temperature sensor, DIP switches for IPMI functionality and a management RS-232 port.
