Powered by AWS, the DragonBoard IoT Starter Kit includes the tools a developer or maker would need to start up an IoT application in minutes. Amazon selected Arrow to support its new SDK and provide IoT products with AWS support to the developer community.
“Arrow is excited to collaborate with Qualcomm Technologies and Amazon on this IoT Starter Kit,” said Jes Lefcourt, general manager of IoT adoption at Arrow. “We wanted to provide developers and makers with a low-cost, high-performance way to build IoT solutions—I can’t wait to see what kinds of innovations and venture-ready prototypes this kit will enable.”
The DragonBoard IoT Starter Kit is based on the DragonBoard 410c, a low-cost, high-performance Arrow-built development board that features the 64-bit capable Snapdragon 410 quad-core ARM Cortex A53 processor. Based on Linaro’s open-source 96Boards specification, the DragonBoard offers advanced processing power, WLAN, Bluetooth, and GPS— packed into a board the size of a credit card.
Arrow will conduct several live demonstrations of the IoT Starter Kit at AWS re:Invent.
