AMD Ryzen embedded V1000-based MI988 mini-ITX motherboard

IBASE Technology has unveiled the MI988 Mini-ITX motherboard based on the latest AMD Ryzen Embedded V1000 processor family. With the 14nm architecture, the AMD Ryzen Embedded V1000 processor combines the processing power of the advanced AMD 'Zen' CPU and 'Vega' graphics architecture in a single chip.

“Thanks to the high processing and graphics capabilities of the AMD Ryzen mobile processors, the MI988 delivers brilliant graphics and a stunning level of video performance,” said Wilson Lin, Senior Manager of product planning department at IBASE.

“The MI988 enables power savings and scalability for high-performance devices used in mission-critical markets in the field of machine vision, medical imaging and gaming.”

The MI988 is equipped with two DDR4-2666 SO-DIMM slots that support ECC and up to 32GB capacity. It has an M.2 SSD storage (NVMe) and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. Display connectors provided are an HDMI(2.0a), a DisplayPort(1.4) and an eDP or a 24-bit dual channel LVDS.

It is available in three models with quad- and dual-core APUs including the AMD Ryzen Embedded V1807B, V1756B, and V1202B. Measuring 170mm by 170mm, it features a wide-range power input of 12V to 24V.
