In the fourth quarter of 2016, PEAK-System will release an FD version of the PCAN-miniPCIe that uses the new CAN FD standard with raised bandwidth. Among others, a four-channel version will be available. An edition of the carrier card SP4-MAMBO with 16 CAN FD channels is then planned by EKF.
8 CAN Channels for CompactPCI Serial
In cooperation with PEAK-System, the company EKF from Hamm, Germany, offers the carrier card SP4-0980-MAMBO for CompactPCI serial backplanes, applied, for example, to automotive test systems or industrial controls. With four CAN interfaces PCAN-miniPCIe from PEAK-System, the carrier card provides eight CAN channels at its front panel. They are galvanically isolated from the remaining circuits and against each other.
