IBASE Technology has announced a 1U Enterprise Network Appliance designed for Intel Xeon E-2300 Processors.

The INA3605 platform houses the IBASE MBN808 motherboard integrated with Intel C252 PCH, two DDR4 slots with a maximum configuration of 64GB, six 2.5G RJ45 GbE ports and two SFP ports.

With additional ethernet module space for flexible configurations, the INA3605 supports up to 16 GbE ports and is ideal for deployment in a wide range of enterprise network security, IoT security, advanced threat protection, unified threat management (UTM), firewall, and VPN applications. Coupled with a single socket Xeon E-2300 processor with 4, 6, or 8 cores and TDP from 65W up to 95W, this 1U appliance achieves greater scalability, better bandwidth utilisation and lower latency, helping enterprise customers tackle compute-intensive workloads and meeting the demands of next-generation networking infrastructure.

The INA3605 features four U.3 storage on the front to support SATA and NVMe SSD drives with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 via optional LSI RAID controllers, enabling great performance in both read and write operations and 600W 1+1 redundant power supplies that prevent system crash due to PSU failure. A variant of the model is the INA3604 which uses a 500W AC single power supply.

INA3605 features:

  • Intel Xeon E-2300 Processors with C252 PCH
  • 2x DDR4 UDIMM/RDIMM, Max. 64GB (ECC)
  • 6x RJ45 GbE with 2 pairs bypass on board
  • 2x Gbe SFP ports on board
  • Optional NIC slot
  • 4x U.3 storage on the front
  • SATA/NVMe SSD with RAID 0,1,5,6,10,50,60 support through LSI RAID controller
  • 1x PCI-E(x8) expansion slot
  • 600W AC redundant power supplies
