Kontron introduces the K4131-Px, a powerful mITX industrial motherboard based on the new AMD Ryzen AI Embedded P100 Processor Series. Designed for demanding industrial Edge and AI applications, the board offers high computing power, excellent graphics performance, and state-of-the-art AI acceleration in a compact form factor.

Thanks to the AMD Ryzen AI Embedded P100 processors, the K4131-Px delivers exceptional graphics and AI performance and is ideal for visual data processing, machine vision, Edge AI, automation, and smart industrial systems. The integrated AI engine enables efficient inference directly at the Edge, reducing latency and minimising the need for Cloud resources.

One special feature of the board is its high level of flexibility in system integration. With support for up to four DisplayPort outputs, as well as LVDS and embedded DisplayPort (eDP), it is ideal for multi-display and HMI applications. There are up to four M.2 slots available for memory and expansion requirements, which can be used for fast storage, multi-purpose expansions, wireless solutions, or 5G connectivity, among other things.

Additionally, the K4131-Px features other industrial interfaces, including up to four COM ports that allow for the easy connection of legacy and field devices. The wide input range from 9V to 34V ensures stable operation even in demanding industrial environments with varying supply voltages.

The new K4031-Px motherboard will be available with a SMARTCASE S740. This housing solution is optimised for industrial applications and enables rapid system integration.

With the K4131-Px, Kontron is expanding its portfolio with a future-proof, powerful mITX motherboard that meets the highest demands for performance, connectivity, and flexibility.
