Neousys Technology releases its Nuvo-8111 series AI platform

Neousys Technology, a provider of rugged embedded systems, has released their latest expansion box PC, the Nuvo-8111 series.

It is a cost-effective AI platform designed for factory automation. It features flexible expansion slots for add-on cards and supports a 200W NVIDIA graphics card for edge AI computation.

Powered by Intel 9th/8th-Gen Core i processor and Intel H310 chipset, Nuvo-8111 offers reliability, performance, and wide-temperature operation from -25°C to 60°C. Nuvo-8111 features a front-accessible I/O design with rich connectivity that includes two GbE, four USB 3.1 Gen 1, five COM ports, and dual DVI display outputs. Also, Nuvo-8111 supports up to two 2.5” SATA HDD/SSD and one mSATA socket for SSD.

As a cost-effective AI platform, Nuvo-8111 supports the COTS graphics cards, the NVIDIA RTX 3060/ 3060Ti series, offering tremendous GPU power up to 20 TFLOPS in FP32 for emerging GPU-accelerated applications. In addition, Nuvo-8111 supports an additional x4 PCIe and a PCI slot to install motion control cards, frame grabber cards, digital I/O cards, etc. for AI factory automation, vision inspection, and pick and place robotics.
