Featuring dual SIM sockets and dual WWAN modules, the device enables seamless switching between different carriers, with double the bandwidth. Alongside a GPS module, the computer can be used for navigation, tracking and route optimisation. For connection to WiFi, Bluetooth, HSUPA and 3G/4G modules, the ARTS-1450 features 3 mini-PCIe sockets.
The device is optionally available with an embedded CAN BUS2.0B interface, which can be used for vehicle safety control and surveillance. Via 3G/4G, messages generated from the vehicle, including temperature, pressure, oil and engine speed, can be collected and controlled, providing a continuous real-time communication between drivers and the control centre. This allows managers to monitor vehicle status from anywhere at anytime. For security, the computer features 4-channel CCTV.
The ARTS-1450, which measures 20x18cm and weighs 1.5kg, features four COM ports, 1 USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports. MIL-STD-810G compliant, the device has a fanless chassis and a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +70°C, making it suitable for use in demanding automotive applications.
