Neousys Technology unveiled an industrial-grade 4-port 5GBASE-T frame grabber card. The PCIe-PoE454 series comes with 802.3at PoE+ capability to enable multiple high-resolution 5G cameras for advanced machine vision applications.

Featuring the emerging NBASE-T technologies with high bandwidth, high port density, and reliability, it brings significant throughput performance without frame loss for ultra-high-resolution cameras.

The 5GBASE-T technology of PCIe-PoE454at provides up to 5Gb/s bandwidth per port for higher resolution and frame rate. And to ensure its optimal performance, PCIe-PoE454at has been tested with leading 5G cameras without a single error during long-term full load tests. In addition to the latest 5GBASE-T technology, PCIe-PoE454at is also backward compatible with 2.5G, 1G, 100M link speeds to support legacy Ethernet devices and can transmit data utilizing economical Cat 5e Ethernet cables up to 100 metres without bandwidth degradation.

PCIe-PoE454at is also in compliance with IEEE 802.3at and can deliver up to 25.5W for each connected 5G camera with software-programmable per-port power on/ off control. In addition, it comes with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) function to power an NBASE-T camera using a single Ethernet cable, as well as protect equipment from damage by auto-detecting and classifying powered devices.

Deployment wise, PCIe-PoE454at supports high port density to provide four 5GbE ports in a standard PCIe card form factor. Compatible with COTS NBASE-T industrial cameras and supports 0°C to 55°C operating temperature with airflow, it is an ideal choice for machine vision systems that required high resolution and FPS (Frames Per Second) cameras in harsh industrial environments.
