element14 publishes intro to 5G eBook

The transition to new fifth-generation networks (5G), will affect how we use smartphones and many other devices. It will introduce a world in which not just people but everything is connected: cars that converse with each other to avoid accidents; doctors to the personal medical devices of their patients; and much more is set to be delivered via the 5G wireless network, which promises to transform our lives.

There’s no shortage of speculation related to the arrival of 5G but what exactly is it?
