A versatile 3D printer

A new 3D printer, DeltaWASP 3MT has been presented by WASP. WASP started experimenting with chairs printed with plastic pellet. Now WASP is ready to show the DeltaWASP 3MT at Additive Manufacturing Europe 2016 in Amsterdam from 28th to 30th June.

As usual, WASP works with big dimensions and custom series printers. As the name of the printer calls to mind, 3MT stands for 3m and 3 Multi-Tools. You can use this printer for three different functions.

Function 1
The innovation of the year is that the DeltaWASP 3MT can print directly using pellet.

Function 2
You can print using different types of mixtures (concrete, mortar, clay, etc.) by changing the extruder. It is similar to the LDM modality (such as DeltaWASP 20 40, DeltaWASP 20 40 turbo, Delta WASP 40 70, Delta WASP 60 100).

Function 3
It’s possible to insert a tool for milling to cut different types of materials (wood, plastic, etc.).

The machine’s functions can be change quickly and easily: from additive to subtractive manufacturing. The DeltaWASP 3MT is equipped with a hot pad for Thermoplastic polymers and a dispenser.
